Psychotherapy on the other hand is relevant where there is a sense of struggle, sometimes even without any particular awareness of the cause. Often this struggle is something which has been experienced for a considerable period of time. Psychotherapy treatment therefore goes deeper and tends to be of a longer-term nature as it focuses more on gaining insight into chronic emotional problems such as anxiety or childhood trauma etc…

Its focus is on the resulting thought processes and/or life limiting behaviour in general. It will allow you to examine feelings, actions and thoughts and to learn how to evaluate and adjust appropriately.
